How To Hide Acne Marks In 3 Easy Steps Using Makeup.

Growing up, many teens and young adults have to deal with acne and acne scars and anyone who has suffered from acne would know that it can be quite stressful having to take care of your skin in order to prevent such acne problems in the future. The times, when acne marks get really annoying is when we have an event or occasion coming up, wherein we need to look presentable and fresh. Even after applying makeup, the acne bumps and scars are visible sometimes, which makes your skin look bumpy and your makeup looks patchy. That is because, we usually just use foundation to cover up acne marks which does not really hide the marks, rather enhances it. Today, I am going to explain, step by step the procedures to hide acne marks using makeup.

STEP 1: Cleanse your skin.

Start of any makeup routine by having a clean base. Maintaining your hygiene is a must for people suffering from acne. Wash your face with water and suitable face wash. Use a moisturizer, according to your skin type.

STEP 2: Color correct your skin.

The main step, that majority of the people do not know is how to color correct their skin. Acne marks are usually reddish or pinkish in color. You should use a green color corrector to cancel out the red (acne). Take some green color corrector and apply it to the areas that has acne marks. Use a beauty blender and pat the product on top of the acne marks.

STEP 3: Use foundation.

After color correcting your acne marks, apply foundation on your face. It can be a liquid or cream foundation, just make sure to blend your foundation in circular motion with a foundation brush or a beauty blender.

STEP 4: Set it with a loose powder.

Continue with other makeup steps like you usually would. Make sure to use loose powder, in case of oily skin to set your makeup. Use a powder brush and take some loose powder and powder your face lightly to give the skin a matte finish.

There you go, you have a better base and absolutely no acne scars visible. Now you have a flawless base ready and you can attend any event or occasion without having to worry about your acne scars being visible.

Everyday Makeup In Just 5 Simple Steps...

Hey guys, I have been so busy the past few days with college work and everything in general. So, I thought this must be the problem with pretty much EVERYONE. Also getting up early in the morning to go to school, college or job and also looking presentable while doing so. How can we manage all this at once?
So to solve this problem, I did this tutorial for you. It’s basically on how to do your everyday makeup in just 5 simple steps.

Let’s get started…

Step 1: FOUNDATION!!!

Wash and moisturize your face. Moisturizer makes your skin soft and also protects your skin.
After applying the moisturizer, apply a base of foundation or if you have any dark spots or acne, apply some concealor.
As I do not have much dark spots, I’m just putting a base of foundation that’s all.

Foundation - Maybelline Dream Mousse Liquid Foundation 'Nude Light 04'

STEP 2: EYE LINER & EYE SHADOW!!!

After applying foundation, apply some light eye shadow on the top and bottom of your eyes. You can use light colors such as pink, white or light brown. You can also use shimmery eye shadows but in a little amount so that it does not look too harsh for an everyday use.

After applying eye shadow, apply eyeliner. Make sure you apply the liner in a simple style so that it does not look too much on you. As you can see in the image below, I have tried keeping the liner and eye shadow to a minimum.

Eye Shadow- Miss Rose Shimmery Mixed Eye Shadow Pallette
Eye Liner- Mac Pen Liner

 STEP  3: MASCARA!!!

You can use mascara to define your eyelashes which will make your eyes look pretty. Remember to use everything minimally as it is used for everyday basis.
Also you can use some kohl or liner on the waterline of your eyes to give it more definition.

For An Everyday Basis, I'm using Lakme Eyeconic Mascara
Also you can see in the below image, I have used Maybelline Colossal kohl on the waterline of my eyes.

STEP 4: BLUSH!!!

Also you can use a bronzer to define your cheeks. Personally, I like to keep it simple when it comes to doing my makeup for everyday basis and I don’t think bronzer is a necessity.

But yes, I do like to apply blush as it gives my cheek a subtle look. Apply it in a light amount to give it a more natural look.

I’m using a ColorBar Cheek Illusion Blush in the shade ‘Pink Pinch'.

Step 5: LIPSTICK!!!

Now for the last and final touch, use a light lipstick, lip gloss or a lip balm whatever suits you. If you are using a lipstick make sure it isn’t too dark and looks too outgoing. Definitely use light colors which gives it a more natural touch.

I’m using Mac Maximum Provitamin Lipstick.

FINAL LOOK: YAY!!!

So, these are the five easy steps to your everyday makeup. If you do this on a daily basis, I’m sure it’ll only take you 5 minutes to complete your look and I’m sure you’d look fabulous.

This is my final look…
