OOTD to OOTN!!

In this fast paced, oh so tiring life that us millennial girls lead, it's quite often that you need to be on the constant move!!! From office breakfast meetings to lunch with your girlies and romantic dinners with your beau, we are almost always busy keeping up with a fast paced life. During all this, it's quite important to keep our fashionable self a priority, am I right ladiesss?! You can't be seen wearing that same outfit in all the pictures that you post. What will your followers think? Bam! You're termed as a fashion catastrophe, coz you know those haters got no chill!!

Don't fret it my lovelies, I've got some cool ways you can style the same outfit in many different combinations possible! From outfit of the day (OOTD) to an outfit of the night (OOTN).

Step 1: Take that perfect item of clothing in your closet that makes you look like the diva you were born to be. Here you can see its a beautiful striped long skirt for me.

Step 2: Throw on that easy to change into accompaniment that will be easy even to change in a restaurant bathroom. Just kiddin! A white long sleeved top in this context.

Step 3: Put your comfy heels on! You don't want your feet to hurt while on the run.

Step 4: Accessorize!!! A simple watch, rings that match whatever you've put together.

Aaand you're done!!!

Once you're done with that brunch meeting and lunch with the besties, it's time to meet your bae. Don't worry, I got you!

Now comes step 5!!!

Step 5: Throw on that sexy yet simple to put on top, that jacket to protect you from the cold and comfy pair of shoes, keeping your skirt constant. And you're ready!

BBlunt Salon Secret High Shine Hair Crème Colour Review!!!

On quite a lazy morning, when I least expected it, the postman delivered a package addressed to my blogger name. Surprised and confused, I tore open the heavily taped cardboard box, to find some amazing mane-lovin’ I had ordered from BBlunt!!!!!! Since it was close to my mother’s birthday, I decided to gift her BBlunt’s Salon Secret High Shine Hair Crème to help her fade the greys and revive the shine in her hair. I had previously heard numerous people rave about how it helped completely cover their greys while keeping it soft and shiny, so I just had to make my mum try it out. 

By god’s grace, my mum and I are blessed with thick and quite strong hair, but as age comes on, we can’t avoid the deadly grey hair. 

Now onto the details of the product, I ordered the hair color in the shade wine burgundy as it matches my mum’s skin tone quite well. The product at Rs. 199 was a bit pricey compared to some other drug store brands. The coloring kit comes in three parts, the colorant, the developer and their special shine tonic that helps retain moisture and restore shine. Mix these three into a mixing bowl and start applying it to your roots first and then the rest of your strands. 

My mum, who was using the product told me that the product’s creamy texture, however moisturizing it feels on the scalp, the application can be quite tedious. She left it on for 30-40 minutes as prescribed on the box, emulsified and rinsed it off. She mentioned specifically about how easily the product washed off and she didn’t even feel the need to use shampoo twice to clean the colorant off. After towel and air drying her hair, we took a look at how it worked on her hair. 

Now some hair colors don’t catch on to the hair on the first application, but to our surprise the Burgundy color latched quite well onto her hair. She said that the product did make her hair a bit rough around the ends compared to her standard hair dye. But overall there was a shiny appearance to her hair and there was quite a bit of volume addition as well.

 

In the end, my mom was quite satisfied with the results and said she wouldn’t mind using the product again. That’s a big thumbs up from her side !!!

I would rate the BBlunt Salon Secret High Shine Hair Crème a solid 7/10. Highly recommend this product. The color is vibrant and it lives upto its claims quite a bit.

For the second photoshoot we decided to style it up with black and red. The outfits are more stylish and darker than the ones before. It is an 'outfit of the night' themed photoshoot. The outfits are perfect for going out for partying, going to a concert, etc.

Fun Holiday Photobook!

Hey guys, its been a long time since I posted anything up on my blog. I apologize and I guess I have to be more active on my blog and other social medias.

Also, recently my cousins came down from Dubai for their vacations. All of us cousins finally got together after such a long time.

We also went on a little holiday trip. As we don't get much time to spend together, we decided to make the most of it on this holiday trip.

The only thing we did was have lots of fun and click a lot of pictures together since we meet up only once in a year.

We dressed up in our best outfits and decided to do a little photoshoot. We created fun themes for our photoshoots and we also went a little... okay, maybe a LOT crazy during our photoshoots.

Since we clicked a lot of pictures, I decided to make a 3 part series of this photoshoot.

Braided Love!!!

Hi Guys! I know I have been completely MIA for a while. Firstly I want to apologize to all my readers out there and secondly promise you guys, lots of fun filled blog posts coming your way.

For today’s post, I have created a simple and easy to-do hairstyle. I have created this look by using BBlunt’s Climate Control Anti Frizz Leave in Cream. This Cream not only enhance natural movement and smoothen your hair but also tame the frizz and protect your hair from environmental and heat styling damage.

Here are the steps for the hairstyle, so let’s get started!!!

Step 1:-

Start of by creating a side partition, take a 1 inch section from one side and create a braid. Now take an adjacent 1 inch section of hair and create another braid and secure it with a clear rubber band.

Step 2:-

Now repeat the same braids on the other side of the partition.

Step 3:-

Now hold both the braids from each side at back and secure the four braids into a ponytail.

Step 4:-

Now flip the ponytail to the front and take a 1 inch hair from the crown area and flip the ponytail back and overlay the ponytail with the 1 inch hair.

Step 5:-

That completes our hairstyle. If you want you can upgrade your hairstyle with an additional step wherein you can take 1 inch hair from both sides and create a small ponytail at the back.
